Journeys to Real America
I am embarking on a journey to Real America, in the Western Quadrant. Texas. Wyoming. Idaho. For work and social obligations.
Part of this journey will involve no less than two trips to a firing range. I'm thinking I want to get better at a .45 and an AR-15 but also thinking of trying a bullpup rifle. Any suggestions from the experienced about a gun that surprises and delights?

Hmmm, if you are looking for a gun that surprises and delights a bullpup may not, at least once the honeymoon period is over. Most have fairly long, crunchy triggers that don't break particularly smoothly, but that isn't a deal breaker for everyone. Some of the most fun I've had recently has been with suppressed .22s, but if you are shooting exclusively at the range that may not factor in. If you are looking for a good time with something a little more exotic than an AR you might want to check out the CZ Scorpion. Practical, hardly, but it can be a ton of fun.
In Texas, private tanks are legal. Just saying.
