I mean, is it really the questions or are people willing to follow a script and talk about stuff that's been proscribed for them likely to make people more comfortable with each other?

How to end terrorism. Tell terrorists that:

• What they do makes enemy politicians look like the good guys, makes them stronger, not weaker.
• No one has every conquered the world by attacking civilians, restaurants, stadiums, monuments. I cannot Imagine Napoleon conquering Europe by blowing statues or restaurants.
• Violence is for illiterate people. No intellect is needed to pull a trigger.
• Those who command terrorists are rich and they do not want to die. Let them do the dirty job of killing themselves.
• Attacks can make headlines, but their targets have no military or tactical or strategic value.
• Terrorism helps weapon manufacturers to get rich. They have an incentive to create more oppression among those who think terrorism is an answer, so they can sell more weapons.
• Terrorists are useful idiots for enemy politicians and weapon manufacturers.
• Bombs do not end wars. It was a fabrication, an excuse to justify the only nuclear attack on civilians in human history.
• Madrid attacks did not make Spain to surrender.
• NYC attacks did not make Americans to surrender.

Conclusion: The smart way is NOT to be a terrorist. The idiotic way is terrorism.
