Information Is Power

This picture has made me think about this statement all day. Information is power, right? But what if the information informs you of futility. Or if it's just a system error.
Would post in D&D but not sure this is substantive enough.

You can at least extrapolate that you might be better off trying an alternative public transport (if those are available) The real problem is usually that you don't have enough info, you know shit has hit the fan but you don't really know the extent. The sign isn't wrong, is that part of your rambling?
If the next train/bus is in an hour, then the sign is showing the time of the arrival at the same time the next day.
Not wrong, but sure as hell not convenient.
I'd ask someone, dudes in a booth or wearing a funny hat. Or the person standing next to me. Is that sign correct?
It's a train line that runs at 20-30 minute intervals on late nights, and 6-8 minute intervals during rush hour. But this was taken during weekend construction, so maybe it's right. Or maybe it's a bug. That particular line doesn't have human operators anymore, just unionized drones who push a "safety" button in the control cab every 15 seconds.
