In the future, the Berlin wall will be a mile high, and made of steel. You too will be made to crawl, to lick children's blood from jackboots. There will be no creativity, only productivity. Instead of love there will be fear and distrust, instead of surrender there will be submission. Contact will be replaced with isolation, and joy with shame. Hope will cease to exist as a concept. You should look up the works of Naoki Urisawa. I find his masterpiece, Monster, to be a better production than Inception and Fight Club. It's manga, but at least it's grown up oriented.
It's about a surgeon in Dusseldorf, West Germany, who saves a boy who later thanks to his traumas grows up to be a psychopatic mass murderer. It revolves around the hunt for this person who seems to grab the strings from far away, only making a seldom appearance. To me, he's the ultimate villain.
