Without any spoilers yet please, anyone seen/watching this?

New TV show (guessing its HBO) with Jeremy Irons that's been heavily promoted. Looking forward to the start of this on Sky Atlantic tonight.

It's not really good. Not very bad either, but it's one of those series that look incredibly pretty but that make you wonder if they please could move the story along a bit.

But the spoiler thing; it's based in facts that happened 500 years ago,how can there be spoilers.

Of course its based on history, and something I knew about the family happened in the first episode. But there's a world of difference between knowing some things about it (we're not all history buffs who happened to study that part of history exclusively) and knowing not just every single thing that'll happen, and how it'll happen, in which episode and how it'll be portrayed etc
