Israel was built on ethnic cleansing. Open a book, or read a journal.

Most Israelis are wondering "Why won't all the Palestinians go away?".

Two Nice Jewish Boys call for a bit of ethnic cleansing and genocide.

    Is this "deeply offensive"?

I see a lot of indiscriminate and disproportionate violence, which probably rises to the level of crimes against humanity. But to the extent there's ethnic cleansing, it's happening in the West Bank.

90% of the population of Gaza has been displaced since 2023

They're still in Gaza. There's no plan to permanently displace them, except possibly in some border areas. Some of Israel's policies regarding humanitarian aid are borderline genocidal though.

Indiscriminate and disproportionate violence & crimes against humanity will not have any meaningful consequences for Israel. They have 'friends' who will provide their support with all means to the bitter end.

This lack of consequences, by the way, is the reason why Israel believes it can operate with total impunity, and is utterly appalled when anyone dares to question what it does or fight back. When baseless accusations of anti-Semitism are hurled around, this cheapens accusations of real anti-Semitism. Israel's crimes result in reduced safety of diaspora Jews, many of whom do not support Israel's crimes.

Israel aspires to ethnically cleanse Gaza, just like the Two Nice Jewish Boys and their wish for a magic button to kill and rid Gaza of its Palestinian inhabitants.
המסמך המלא של משרד המודיעין: כיבוש עזה וטרנספר כולל לתושביו

Interestingly, Hitler also wished there was a button he could press to disappear the world of its Jews.

Wiggin will now tell us all how ' ludicrously offensive' BluntHorse is for stating this. Go ahead.

Many countries are. I would go so far as to say most countries have been built on multiple waves of ethnic cleansing. And in Israel's case, it was thoroughly mutual and had been for decades prior to Israel's founding. The past matters but it also can't be changed. If you want me to get offended by it, then you're gonna just have to accept that your side is as or more offensive and evil in that perspective and worth no more regard or respect.

It seems post world war 2 humanity is distinguished by its turn against genocide and ethnic cleansing as the standard for dealing with the 'other', as opposed to more or less all human history prior. We still can't, as a species, seem to get "never again" to stick, though.

Many nations were founded on genocide and ethnic cleansing in history. Just a few hundred years ago, The United States and Australia. A few thousands of years ago, Israel. It's recorded in the bible (1 Samuel 15:3, Joshua 6:21 and Joshua 8:25?26). I love the bit where Israelis are commanded to kill "men and women, young and old, cattle, sheep, and donkeys".

Israelis and their supporters like you must use this as some sort of justification for the genocide today. Netanyahu loves it, and definitely uses it as a justification. (Interestingly, he is an atheist but believes God gave him Israel.)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pMVs7akyMh0

Like EyeKhan said, after WW2, the standards changed for what is acceptable in the world. There's this whole thing called International Law and the Geneva Convention. I know you don't think it should, but it does apply to Israel. Perhaps you can defend them at the ICC with your assertion that that lots of countries got their start with some genocide and ethnic cleansing, so its totally fine for Israel to do it.

Israel missed the time where the whole settler colony thing was cool by at least a hundred years or so. You see, for normal non-genocidal people, what Israel is doing is not cool. In international law, the victims of Zionism who continue to experience it on their bodies have a right to resist. I know you hate it, and would rather mock them as ZioNuts. I can't help your fascism.

It looks like we have reached the bottom of the barrel your "It's fine to genocide Palestinians because they are more evil than us" moral relativist argument. You've got no where else to go. What a shame.

Please explain how "my" side is as or more offensive and evil than 75 years of Israeli ethnic cleansing, genocide, rape, murder, lying, stealing, torture and gas lighting to the detriment of the Palestinian people. And at least 40,000 people killed (perhaps high as 100,000) since October 7th. Try to do it without racism (i.e implying a Jewish life is worth more than a Palestinian one).

If you want to really listen to incitement to genocide, check out translations of Palestinian textbooks.

I think that's an interesting and possibly accurate distinction to make about the West Bank.

If the Zionutters had any nuance and accepted that Israel actually exists, it would be a better use of language to describe the West Bank. But they think Israelis are settlers everywhere. Which ironically is what the West Bank settlers think too!

A plague on both your houses. I don't support Israel, they stink. My issue with you is you think your shit doesn't stink and that your preferred side being weaker somehow conveys virtue onto it. A military response to the attack last year may have been justified but the course Israel started and continues to pursue certainly wasn't. And no matter amount of whining about resistance to colonialism being justified while you quietly celebrate that terrorist assault and other such acts will ever change that they are also illegitimate and vile. There will never be a moral high horse on your side, your own ideology won't allow it.

Itmar Marcus Hasbra. Do you ever manage to convince people with it? Just out of curiosity, did they have those hateful text books before the European Zionist colonial settler project or after? And could it have anything to with decades of unlimited persecution by Israel?

I've never read a Palestinian text book, but even if the books have a genocidal slant, it's Israel who are actually doing a genocide for all the world to see.

But it's amazing, the whole 'Did you know Palestinians said something hateful once?' line of defence for Israel.

People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

Israeli scholar Nurit Peled-Elhanan's 'Palestine in Israeli School Books', has a major study of 17 Israeli school textbooks on history, geography and civic studies.

It's Jewish Israeli kids who are taught hate and taught a victim mentality from a young age. Today's general IDF soldiers and the unhinged genocide are a product of Israel?s education system.

But it’s only bad if Palestinians teach their kids to hate the people and state that oppresses them, right?

Clearly you were indoctrinated with this hate too. Maybe you teach it to your kids.

Every ZioNut accusation is a confession.

Offended by everything, ashamed by nothing.

What is it like growing up with a victim mentality, and then realising you are actually the victimiser?

Do you do the whole ‘plague on both your houses’ to women who were raped and their rapists?

What about the Nazis and the Jews in Sobibor when they resisted?

Do you do it to the Ukranians for resisting the Russians?

I like the whole ‘everyone is bad but because I’m racist to Palestinians, I’ll continue to support Israel’. Novel approach.

Quote Originally Posted by Aimless View Post

The prism of sides is the genocide supporters thing. Not mine.

However, there are indeed two sides. One of pure, unhinged evil. And the other of fairness, justice and humanity.

But right now, these unhinged freaks are admitting that being fair and objective is to be anti-semitic and Hamas.

So don’t be objective, guys! Talk about 40 beheaded babies, babies in ovens, babies on washing lines, breasts cut off and thrown around, systematic rape, and Hamas bases under hospitals. If you don’t, you’re anti-semitic and helping Hamas.

I’ve actually lost count of the number of bold bare faced lies Israel tells the world. I stopped paying attention. It’s easier to assume everything that comes out of Israel is a lie.

There is a reason why plenty of Jews with a clear conscience stand up against what Israel is doing. Because its fucking obvious to anyone with a couple of functional braincells. They don’t suddenly become self hating Jews or whatever ugly slur you want to call them.

Freaks like to equate the crimes committed by Hamas with the entire Palestinian population. Then they are subsequently happy to support the collective punishment and bombing of Palestinians for the same reason.

What is interesting is that now it is crystal clear that Israel killed loads of its own people on October 7th. I am willing to bet the vast majority of people who died that day of the 1,200 were due to Israeli weapons. Maybe that’s part of the reason why people are protesting in Israel right now.

Did they all spend decades and decades consistently and consciously contributing to the creation of their hell environment and resisting and opposing every opportunity, multilateral or unilateral, to improve things? No. Have the Palestinians and Israelis each collectively done so? Yes. And time and again they overtly or tacitly throw their support to those who promise to keep making things worse. Fine. Welcome to worse now for both sides A for another 30 years. They will all lament their harvest and remain utterly blind to how they continue to sow it. And YOU will continue to encourage it yourself, safely removed from any personal threat or suffering and happy to sacrifice their futures to your dreams of a "decolonized" (i.e. Israel-free) Middle East.

I'm sure Israel will investigate and hold those responsible to account, just like they did for Shireen Abu Akleh, Rachel Corrie, Tom Hurndall, John Chapman, James Kirby, James Henderson ect. It's a very robust system they have over there in Israel. Heck, it's the only democracy in the Middle East.

Do you peddle all the crap Israel spouts?

The only evidence of rape from Oct 7th to today from Israel/Palestinian territories is that of the IDF gangraping people at Sde Tieman. Not only is there leaked video footage of the vile act, Israelis were ready to start a civil war over the right to rape Palestinians. Oh, and Israel openly celebrates the rapist, Meir Ben-Shitrit.

I heard Noa Argamani is about give birth to her Hamas rape baby, and she's inviting deranged fantasist like you to suggest names.

You know what, I would be willing to be receptive to your horse shit if I was uneducated on the matter and if Israel had not been doing this type of thing from the beginning. Unlucky for you.

For serious people, today we learned that someone in the Zionut state was spreading supposed internal and top secret documents of Hamas, supposedly straight from Yahya Sinwar's computer, to garner sympathy and support for Israel's genocide. The documents were fake. Add that to the long list of bold and barefaced lies.

    https://www.propublica.org/article/g...an-aid-blinken

The U.S. government’s two foremost authorities on humanitarian assistance concluded this spring that Israel had deliberately blocked deliveries of food and medicine into Gaza.

The U.S. Agency for International Development delivered its assessment to Secretary of State Antony Blinken and the State Department’s refugees bureau made its stance known to top diplomats in late April. Their conclusion was explosive because U.S. law requires the government to cut off weapons shipments to countries that prevent the delivery of U.S.-backed humanitarian aid. Israel has been largely dependent on American bombs and other weapons in Gaza since Hamas’ Oct. 7 attacks.

But Blinken and the administration of President Joe Biden did not accept either finding. Days later, on May 10, Blinken delivered a carefully worded statement to Congress that said, “We do not currently assess that the Israeli government is prohibiting or otherwise restricting the transport or delivery of U.S. humanitarian assistance.”

Prior to his report, USAID had sent Blinken a detailed 17-page memo on Israel’s conduct. The memo described instances of Israeli interference with aid efforts, including killing aid workers, razing agricultural structures, bombing ambulances and hospitals, sitting on supply depots and routinely turning away trucks full of food and medicine.

    ...

Separately, the head of the State Department’s Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration had also determined that Israel was blocking humanitarian aid and that the Foreign Assistance Act should be triggered to freeze almost $830 million in taxpayer dollars earmarked for weapons and bombs to Israel, according to emails obtained by ProPublica.
    Indefensible crimes.

Is that the guy who was behind the Beirut marine base bombing when I was a kid? If so, been a long time coming...

It blows my mind that Israeli intelligence sets bombs in hundreds of pagers and walkytalkys and blows up thousands of people without care for the indiscriminate carnage to uncounted bystanders and nobody describes it as terrorism. That's just nuts.

Collateral damage is typically never considered terrorism. Terrorism is the deliberate targeting of civilians to incite terror for a political cause. Going after legitimate targets, knowing that some civilians will die, is not terrorism. You can argue the ethics of it but it isn?t terrorism.

    If you say so.

But I gotta say if I lived anywhere in the middle-east, except maybe Israel, I'd be pretty damn fearful, dare I say terrified, that a bomb might go off at any moment. Not in my cell phone necessarily (but who knows?), but certainly the guy riding the bus next to me, sipping coffee two seats down at the cafe, or walking near me down the damn street, or whatever the fuck. We aren't just talking about bad guys here. When nobody's safe because a bomb could go off and kill them at any moment, that is a lot like terror.

I guess the same applies to bombs and missiles falling out of the sky too... Sigh. Fuckinay.

While I agree there are some moral ambiguities with such a novel approach, it's arguably an extremely precise attack. Keep in mind they also built a front company to sell pagers specifically to Hezbollah. It's arguably a far more precise strike than, say, dropping 80 bunker busters into an underground Hezbollah command center built underneath a residential building.

Barely a peep from western leaders after the Smotrich video and the escalation in the West Bank. France, Italy, Spain, all still just talking abt an arms embargo, instead of pushing Brussels to make it happen. I think western govts—like all-too-many western voters—will take any excuse to give them an out. Accountability is taboo.
