However in a scifi scenario, the company may become the center of a geopolitical controversy because of failure to enforce freedom of speech.
Yeah, I'm certainly aware that I'm a nobody. But I did get an email from Will Treves back on the 13th of last month where he said HE was responsible for the forums and acted like he had no clue as to what was going on after I wrote to corporate.
While he said he'd be back in touch I haven't heard anything. I wrote again on the 5th to Jim Wilson, Treves and others pointing out what an amateur job this whole thing has been, again, no response, although I also didn't get any messages that the email's weren't delivered. I'm not convinced that they haven't caught wind of things, but I really don't think they want to know what was going on. Who am I? I'm a nobody, they could care less what I have to say. Unless I buy a large chunk of their shares they can ignore me. My ten shares doesn't count worth shit.
They lump everyone together as just a bunch of disgruntled complainers I think. I'm sure that's what the higher-ups have been told. "Ass covering time".
I generally try to sound halfway civil and cordial, but it's getting harder and harder. Tim's just making stuff up as he goes along, pulling rules out of his ass. He just can not see how it's making him look.
I know many people here don't like biogal. However, I personally don't think she's as bad as some think. I've tangled with her more than once, especially during the whole Skipper incident. While she's still there I don't get the feeling that she's all that happy about the changes either. She's looking the other way on a lot of stuff there. I do think she's trying to preserve what's left of the RCT section. Let's be honest, she didn't like some of the CC regulars and they didn't like her, but her mod duties in other areas haven't always been that strict and certainly don't show her marching lock step with Poxie.
Last month in the midst of the spamming with the porn she was banned herself. She couldn't get on-site, she couldn't get ahold of anyone at Atari at all, but she knew my email address and she contacted me to let me know. I tried contacting others without going public in case her being banned was a mistake, which it turned out it was. I just wouldn't be so quick to think she's a big supporter of the current regime there.

I have no problem with referring to myself as a slut. I even have no problem with people who are my friends (even in the interwebby version of friendship) calling me a slut.
