A while back Greenpeace protested against nuclear energy at the local nuclear power plant (only Dutch one for electricity production, too). I am not really against nuclear energy (provided they don't fuck it up), but what they did looked pretty cool:

That's hysterical! I wish that kind of technology was cheap...we'd all be light vandals.

It's not thát expensive, really. Especially if you rent and not buy it.

It's pretty cool, every year in my city they have a festival called 'Glow' which basically is about projecting kickass moving light things on high buildings and churches, and other light related cool things:

Random place to ask: Flixo, were you in Clockrock Orange on queensday?
I could have had class. I could have been a contender.

You mean Klokrock, at strijp-s? Wasn't at, but walked by it as I live close and dropped someone off at that station. But the band playing then sucked so I did not drop by

    Spoiler:

In the future, the Berlin wall will be a mile high, and made of steel. You too will be made to crawl, to lick children's blood from jackboots. There will be no creativity, only productivity. Instead of love there will be fear and distrust, instead of surrender there will be submission. Contact will be replaced with isolation, and joy with shame. Hope will cease to exist as a concept. The Earth will be covered with steel and concrete. There will be an electronic policeman in every head. Your children will be born in chains, live only to serve, and die in anguish and ignorance.
The universe we observe has precisely the properties we should expect if there is, at bottom, no design, no purpose, no evil, no good, nothing but blind, pitiless indifference.

Assuming you were there, was it any good? TBH most of those rock parties are often the same, and the crowd often sucks.

Where the heck does those My Little Pony ones come from?

Fucking hilarious, considering that show was just on my TV (while waiting for Fraggle Rock, Kaitlyn's favorite show)

  10. #1960
My Little Pony has gathered a rather large (mostly male) Internet following. It's a very good show. I'm worried about season 2 though, Faust isn't exec anymore and some of the animating staff left the show, too

Where they come from? You could check out ponibooru or bronibooru but you run the risk of Rule 34, which is just

Oh really? THat's disappointing. I was starting to like it (I was a big My Little Pony fan in the 80s). I liked that it has a Powerpuff Girl vibe to it. Oh well

On the positive side, most of season 2 is already written and so forth, so it's less likely it'll return to the (sorry) mindless toy-pushing origins of the franchise. But we'll see.

Don't be sorry, I was a little kid then, and I'm sure if I went back and watched it that would be true. After all, there is a closet or two in my mother's house still full of My Little Pony, Barbie, Care Bear, Teenage Muntant Ninja Turtles, Transformers, and so forth. So obviously those shows did their job

Yeah, I loved it. Peter Pan played so that was good. There was beer and sun, and it wasn't big and crowded.

    and the crowd often sucks
That's not so much the rock crowd, but because you live in Eindhoven.

Peter pan is fun, but seen them twenty times or so by now Was Vanderbuyst fun? I might see them saturday and want to know if it is worth it
That's not so much the rock crowd, but because you live in Eindhoven.
Meh, more Dutch crowds in general. Brabant is not that bad, but the more up north you go it's usually not an improvement :P

^^That's awesome. I never knew about these projections, they're really cool.

AFAIK Gerry Hofstetter is one of the pioneers of this kind of art.

    Cinderella was blonde

The evil step-sister's dresses have been recolored as well. So has the Prince's outfit.
