Thread: Oh how the mighty have fallen

  1. #31
It's not a complex if its a fact. I was reading some of my old PM's and laughing at how ridiculous some of the points I got were. I would get a warning and points, and lolli and tear would turn around and do the same shit and when I reported their posts I was "spamming" Rand and Dread's inbox. I was pissed at the time honestly but now I think it's funny, and in the end they both got what they deserved, Atari knocked them on their asses.

And now they get to be Kings of this new internet forumland!

    You're such a crybaby.

Rules that were inconsitently enforced? Made up on the spot? Not enforced for popular users but enforced heavily for less favorable users? Partisan moderators? Ideology shifts?

They've been happening for a while.
You do realize that people gloat when the other person is somehow worse off, right? Considering that this place is actually better than ACC, you'd have to have some serious issues to decide that gloating would actually work. Given your quote about Marxists and you actually taking the time to "gloat" to people who you haven't talked to in years, that doesn't seem very far from the truth.
Hope is the denial of reality

Man, you need to clean out your computer crap more often then. You had saved PMs from a couple of years ago? From the other place?

  5. #35
lol oh please don't let me interfere with all the fun you're having at the new CC, I mean it's SO much better than the old CC, there you only got to chat with a bunch of dumbasses, here you can...do a lot more than that.

I guess really I find it pretty sad that after all these years most of the people here are still really socially awkward people, they basically are addicted to CC so when it finally got taken from them they had no real lives to return to so they had to continue on with the e-coolness and build this here internet utopia.

Edit: I didn't save anything...I logged into my account at Atari, all the pm's were still there.

  6. #36
Right. Must not have gotten too many PMs then, what with their limit and all. Or the option to delete/manage.

Anyway, I don't think anyone denies we all have an "addiction" to a certain type of internet forum. That's probably why they have a thing called Bookmarks or Favorites. Never heard it called e-coolness before.

Yeah, it is pretty sad. None of us have lives outside of here. Must be why we talk about our lives outside of here. Oh wait

I didn't say all. I said most. Maybe I really meant some. Who cares.

I do. "After all these years" you say? Well, yeah. That's rather the point, Dopey.

I honestly can't remember if I remember you or not.
    I enjoy blank walls.

Well then I guess I did a good job of taking the advice of everyone who wanted to give it and I got a life. Maybe they should have as well. I'm here for fun, and I'm actually having a decent time so far, it's like a bad family reunion. I'm flying out for a job interview on Monday so I doubt I'll have much free time after that, and I'll probably be banned before then anyway so I wouldn't sweat me being here so much.

    Edit: I remember you

You were one of the few people who came to my defense when I got banned.

  11. #41
He's not one of the guys from "years ago" who would give a crap what grade you're in, Mario. Or noticed when kids get their braces off. Or the members who've had babies! Or the ones who are pregnant, or had surgery, or got divorced or married, or are shacking up with questions about marriage and babies, or break-ups. Or graduated from college and gotten their career started. Bought a home or car, or started a new venture, or adventure.

No wonder you don't remember him.

  12. #42
What makes you think you'll be banned?
Faith is Hope (see Loki's sig for details)
If hindsight is 20-20, why is it so often ignored?

  13. #43
GGT, I'm sure you had a point in that monologue, but maybe I failed to see it. Yeah I didn't really care too much about the daily lives about the forum goers, but that comes with the territory doesn't it? It's an internet forum. Most people choose to obscure their real life by going online.

Being: I dunno, do they not ban people here?

Fine. Off the top of my head without researching, here's what I remember about users on this board.

Dread - Lives in NY, is ultra pro Israel/Jewish
Rand - Lives in the UK (I think)
Nessus - Lives in one of the Nordic countries, is probably Aryan, loved the Ulli movies, and hated imperfections in people
aoshi - was a gay 17 year old when i was on the CC
lolli - artificially inseminated by her wives brother. has two kids, is also a pediatrician. divorced or separated.
tear - had something wrong with his kidneys or liver, i can't remember
Ominous Gamer - lived in a basement in Tampa last time I posted on the CC
Lewkowski - resident neocon bible basher. Funny thing is i probably agree with him most politically, but not for religious reasons.
Loki - I believe he was a political science or history major. He had a pretty big political paradigm shift to the right during my stay at ataricc.
AmericanWoman - lives in florida i think, her or her husband is into motorcycles
bitter jeweler - gay jewelery shop owner or worker

I remember talking with you a lot GGT but I don't know that much about you personally. Sorry if that offends you, but maybe you never offered up a lot of personal info for me to know.

We are they. You'd have to want to be banned and even then you'd probably have to do it yourself.

You saved old PMs but never bothered to really keep up? Some of that is correct, most of it has changed. I'm not offended, why would I be offended?

  18. #48
I didn't save anything. I just have a habit of not deleting PM's that are sent to me. I'm the same way about e-mail, I just tend to let it accumulate (unless it's obvious I don't want it).

  19. #49
Also, how can you remember "talking with me a lot" but not have any recollection? Sounds bogus.

    Hi HO!

They don't have basements in Florida.

    Hi HO!
I don't remember the specifics of the conversations but I remember posting in the same threads as you.

    Incorrect.

This gives me HOPE. My memory is not as bad as I worry. We posted in the same threads? OMG

Hi Ho, Hi Ho [everyone sing along] It's off to work we go [whistle while you work]

Trying to say it in a civilized way obviously isn't good enough to get through that thick head of yours, so I'll just say you weren't that memorable.

    Try again, Bob Villa.

  26. #56
Ok, whatever you say. But it's a rare thing.

I am slow. Partially retarded. Urr, I mean challenged. But it's okay, I might be in the Senior Special Olympics one day! Then won't you feel like an asshole. Uhm, I mean superior. In case I forget, when you come to get my autograph or sign my book, just say "I am Silverlink, the homophobic guy who wanted a bigger penis, we knew each other from the internet, we posted in the same threads!".

A simple search would have immediately yielded results that contradicted your original claim but there's no need to do that when you already know every damn thing, is there?

I'm off to bed. Farewell, in classic GGT-posting style:

    Step 1: Hi-HO!

Step 2: Attempt at baiting with elementary trolling attempts

Step 3: Insertion of picture of Star Trek captain in pose that indicates frustration at how dumb individual reading post is

I think it's funny that it's been two years yet you remember that particular detail about me so vividly. Looks like I'm not the only one who's wondering about my penis size.

Now for the obligatory homophobic remark.

    Fag.

Fag is a bad word, right? Omigosh I should keep up to date with urban dictionary. Or something.

Everyone (besides sweet Mario) remembers Silver links. Sausage. Meat grinding. Sheep intestine casings, condoms. SEX!

HI HO! Don't forget to whistle! Can you whistle while you snorkel?

I do know of the penile enhancement incident, if you are referring to it.
I'm not as innocent as I look, sadly. I'm mister "severed human fingers bore me, I'm going to go look at Gizmondo!", remember?
    I enjoy blank walls.
