So, I had this procedure two days ago that was supposed to finally get rid of that double-j catheter.
Well, my kidney had other plans - the doc informed me afterwards that they routinely check whether there are any further stones and that they indeed found another one which had already made its home inside the mucous membrane. He terminated this stone with great prejudice (using a Thullium laser, btw) which means that, as they were unable to find anything else, this time I really should be free of stones.
The downside? Another month with a dj catheter and another stay at the hospital. Hopefully that will be the last time, for real this time. At least they didn't have to change catheters this time.

Sounds like you're still pent up in the hospital, or taking time off at home, with another double jay catheter, hoping this time will be the last. I can see how that messes with your groove.

Some fucker spit on me on the way home from having picked up a package. So an armed guy just tried to take over the news studios to air some kind of message. Seems very calm, and says something about hackers and intelligence services, that he used to work for them, and had to air a message about how they control society. Oh and warning for a cyber attack.

No idea what was being said....or how the police managed his surrender, instead of a video showing the studio being shot up, or a suicide, or "suicide by cop".
There's an uptick in terrorist threats made on social media, too. Airplanes are being diverted, grounded, and searched any time some twit makes a threat on Twitter. Meanwhile, an aero-space contract employee crash-landed a quad-copter toy from Radio Shack, on the White House lawn at 3am, and it's deemed harmless "Drunk Droning".

You can hear one employee talking to keep the guy calm, and the gunman, who is very calm, saying he just wants to air his speech and afterwards he's going to let the hostage go and give himself up. Then he says it's taking long, notices the police, and just does what they say. Police didn't really do anything except come in and shout to drop the gun. Seems he wasn't looking for bloodshed at all.
On a side note, if he had been shot, right after saying he worked for the intelligence services and found out stuff that needs to be aired, that would spark tonnes of conspiracy theories

It's no wonder terrorists have exploited the internet for their own use, and used propaganda to attack free speech, while using that freedom of speech to recruit new terrorists.

Though he didn't commandeer anything, was led to a wrong studio, and had one hostage for about 10 minutes. the evacuation messed up broadcasts on three channels for a few hours.It's still messed up when any individual can commandeer a news station like that. not sure how your second part is connected to the first, but this guy doesn't appear to be a terrorist. Claims to be from some hacking collective, might just be a lone crazy guy.

Even "lone wolves" who can't be connected to a larger terrorist group can be convicted of domestic terrorism. The una-bomber Ted Kaczynski and federal building bomber Timothy McVeigh are good examples of that.
Well, I guess it depends on your definition, of course, but not every gunman in the world is a terrorist.

There's still solutions though if you really want to - I just want to be able to take pictures at times you prefer to remain quiet. Plus it apparently depends on your provider.
